Be Active Night Run for equality with Belgrade's youth

Run2Equality

The event had a twofold aim, which was to engage all age groups in sports activity, as well as to raise awareness, primarily amongst the younger generations, about the importance of sexual and reproductive health and rights. Hence, the night run was named Run2Equality, allowing for a team of two to take place in an 800m relay race around the park. Upon registration, each participant was asked what are they running for, offering choice to run for equality at work, in education and in the family. These options were then printed on the team number plate.

As a side activity UNFPA organised a quiz for 15+ age groups, with questions about the Nairobi Summit, sexual and reproductive health and rights and other themes related to gender equality. Participants and passers-by were also invited to join the #IMarchFor campaign and to record videos.
