In a move towards a more balanced work environment, representatives from nine companies operating in Serbia gathered today in Belgrade and discussed ways to introduce the "Family-Friendly Workplace" model.
The "Family-Friendly Workplace" model aligns with general business objectives while addressing the unique needs and ambitions of each company. Some measures included in the model to enhance work-life balance for employees are: enabling remote work, scheduling meetings exclusively during working hours, providing support during and after maternity or parental leave, supplying necessary technical equipment for working from home, offering paid parental leave, providing childcare and household support, and more.
Representatives from Addiko Bank, Centar novih tehnologija, GDI, IKEA, Intens, Ribella Foods, SDPS d.o.o., TGRS d.o.o., and Yettel Bank participated in the workshop.
These activities are implemented by the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) in Serbia in collaboration with partners from the Government of the Republic of Serbia and numerous private sector stakeholders. The Ana and Vlade Divac Foundation actively supports this initiative through the regional project "More Opportunities Through Family-Friendly Policies," funded by the Austrian Development Agency.
